Why has ‘Real Housewives’ star called Sofia Vergara “rudest woman I’ve ever met”?

Sofia Vegara continues to make the headlines. A couple of weeks after it was confirmed that Vergara and husband Joe Manganiello are to divorce after seven years of marriage, the spotlight is on the Colombian actor once more, after reality-TV personality Teresa Giudice slammed her as “the rudest woman” she has ever met.

Guidice’s comments came in the latest episode of the Real Housewives of New Jersey star’s podcast, Namaste B$tches. Describing herself as “so not a fan” of Vergara, she recalled an unhappy encounter with the 51-year-old at a 2017 event.

“Why are you making me take a picture with that lady?”

“Sofia Vergara’s PR person and my PR person spoke together, and I guess the two of them said, ‘Let’s get a picture of Teresa and Sofia together,’” Giudice revealed. “I didn’t want a picture with her. I never ask to take a picture with anybody, unless it just happens. I don’t go out of my way to take a picture with anybody.

“When we went to go take a picture, she was like standing in front of me. It was like, ‘OK that’s not how you take a picture.’ She was the most rudest woman I’ve ever met.”

Guidice added that she later overheard Vergara complaining about being paired with her for a photo: “I saw her whole demeanour, and then I heard her say to her PR person, ‘Why are you making me take a picture with that lady?’ I heard her with her accent, saying this to her PR person. And I was just like, ‘Excuse me? I did not want to take a picture with you. I would never ask to take a picture with you.’

“She just looked at me, and I just walked away from her, we both walked away from each other, and that was it.”

Vergara “so not a humble person”

Giudice concluded: “I was like, ‘How rude; you’re so not a humble person. You forgot where you came from.’ It’s not like she started out being on the top. She forgot where she came from. She was so not a down-to-earth person. So not a fan of her.”
