Zendaya calmed Robert Pattinson in their latest movie after two hours on the phone: “There’s no hidden meaning”

The stories Robert Pattinson is sharing about his experiences on film sets are somewhat intriguing. He was recently filming “The Drama” alongside Zendaya. The actor was annoyed for three days by the literalness of a line in the script that his character had to deliver and it was the 29-year-old actress who calmed him down after a two-hour uninterrupted phone call.

How Zendaya calmed Pattinson down

‘We had a scene together that was driving me crazy,’ Pattinson explains in conversation with Premiere (as reported by Variety). “I was desperately searching for its meaning, writing and writing pages of literal analysis. I ended up calling Zendaya the night before we shot that scene. I shared my doubts with her, we talked for two hours, and after a while, very calmly, she made me understand that that line just said what it was supposed to say, there was no hidden meaning. And there I was, driving myself crazy for three days,” he concludes.

‘The Drama’ does not yet have a release date. In fact, it does not even have a confirmed synopsis. Rumours suggest that the two will play a couple who experience something significant shortly before their wedding day. Both the script and direction are by Kristoffer Borgli, whose latest work, “Dream Scenario” (2023), focused on bringing Nicolas Cage back to the forefront. He is a director with extensive experience in short films. His big-screen debut was Sick of Myself (2022), another portrait of life as a couple. It seems that things are falling into place.
