If you’re planning to dress up for Halloween, you only have a few days left to snag yourself a costume. You still have time to take advantage of Amazon Prime’s free two-day shipping, but if you don’t want to purchase anything new, here are some ideas that you might be able to assemble at home from clothing and props that you could already have. You just need a little ingenuity and imagination.

10 easy last minute Halloween costume ideas

1. Barbie

By all accounts, Barbie is the most popular costume for the 2023 Halloween season, and if you want to hop on the bandwagon, all you need to do is wear pink from head to toe. A blond wig and pink sunglasses would certainly help. You can choose from the different versions of Barbie from the movie to distinguish yourself from the crowd.

2. Ken

Ken has his share of flashy outfits you could get inspiration from, but if you don’t want too much fuss, just put on his classic beach wear. After all, his job is just beach.

3. Wednesday Addams

Just as there’s Barbie’s all-pink, there’s also Wednesday’s all-black. If you have any goth outfits hiding in your closet, pull them out, and just put on some of that black lipstick. Braided hair will complete the look.

4. John Wick

This has got to be one of the easiest costumes to put together. Chapter 4 of the movie franchise came out this year, so Keanu Reeves’ character is hot once more. All you need is a black suit, black pants, a white shirt, black tie, and some fake blood spattered on you. You can hold whatever toy gun you may have on hand.

5. Carmy Berzatto of “The Bear”

If you’re a fan of the Hulu series “The Bear”, it would be very easy for you to recreate main character Carmy Berzattpo’s look. Just put on a navy blue apron, a basic white t-shirt, and a pair of black jeans.

6. Taylor Swift as a Kansas City Chiefs fan

If it’s too hard for you to come up with anything similar to Taylor Swifts’ looks in her Eras Tour, you can dress as the version that comes to NFL games to cheer on Kansas City Chiefs tight end Travis Kelce. Just put on a bright red oversized tee, wear red lipstick, and hold a vodka cranberry in one hand.

7. Gwyneth Paltrow at her ski trial

If you’re a fan of “quiet luxury”, then it will be easy for you to dress as the poster child of this look, Gwyneth Paltrow, who was the epitome of this style during her ski trial.

8. Rihanna at the Super Bowl

If you love to rock the color red, this costume is for you. Recreate Rihanna’s head-to-toe red ensemble which she wore during her performance at the Super Bowl. That mini-concert boasts the biggest TV audience ever for a Super Bowl half-time show.

9. Tanya of “The White Lotus”

Tanya of The White Lotus has quickly become an icon, and you can steal her look with a romantic-print dress, a scarf, and sunglasses. Bonus points if your costume comes with a Vespa.

10. Joel of “The Last of Us”

This badass character’s look is actually pretty basic. (It’s the zombie apocalypse after all.) All you need is a plaid shirt, a khaki green jacket, some brown boots and a backpack. Weapons optional.
