Senate

Due to Senate voting rules, no Senate seats are to be voted upon in the 2022 midterms.

House

Michigan had 14 congressional districts, though this number will be reduced to 13 after the US Census showed a decline in population, relative to other states.

Let’s take a look at the makeup of the delegation that will be sent to Washington DC.

During the last election, the state was split 50-50, with seven representatives elected from either party. Currently, it looks like the state could send one more Democrat to Congress than Republicans.
