An HR expert warns: Avoid this major mistake on your resume at all costs
A former Visa HR executive offers some insight on the interview process and key do’s and don’ts for your resume.

A well-crafted Curriculum Vitae/resume is a crucial tool in your job search. It significantly increases your chances of landing an interview and ultimately getting a job for many reasons.
It offers a first impression and is a screening tool for potential employers and is generally the first point of contact an employer has with you. It serves as your initial introduction and creates that crucial first impression. A strong CV grabs their attention positively.

Former Visa HR manager Jolen Anderson offered a series of tips to job candidates. Speaking to CNBC Make It she suggested that a resume clearly reflect impact in previous roles.
She adds: “people should understand what their job was, what they were responsible for delivering and how they were able to add value,” says Anderson about how to approach highlighting success in your resume. When you write the bullets under the title of each role, try quantifying the work you got done in each task you list".
