The 31st season of Dancing with the Stars got underway on 19 September with 16 new celebrities battling to be crowned the best on the dancefloor.

For the first time the show will be streamed live coast to coast, courtesy of Disney+, and millions of people have been following along to see who will take home the coveted mirrorball trophy.

This season sees Len Goodman, Carrie Ann Inaba, Bruno Tonioli and Derek Hough return as judges, with long-time presenter Tyra Banks joined by Season 19 champion Alfonso Ribeiro on hosting duties.

Episode three of the new season was James Bond night, to celebrate 60 years of the iconic British super spy. Weather anchor Sam Champion and Charlie’s Angels star Cheryl Ladd found themselves in the bottom two and subject to the audience vote.

Movie star Cheryl Lad and her partner Louis Van Amstel were eliminated from Dancing with the Stars in the third show of the series.

With the show now available to view live on Disney’s streaming platform for the first time, there is a new voting website for audiences to select their favourites. Alternatively, if you are in the United States you can also simply text the first name of your favourite celebrity to 21523 to submit a vote (message and data rates may apply).

Who else is left in Season 31 of Dancing with the Stars?

Monday’s show finished with a three-way tie for top spot, as Charli D’Amelio, Gabby Windey and Wayne Brady all finished with a deeply impressive 33 marks out of a possible 40. But it was Windey who secured the best individual score of the show, and indeed the highest so far this year, receiving the first nine of the season from Bruno Tonioli.
