Update:

Donald Trump has posted a photo of Venezuelan president Nicolás Maduro “on board the USS Iwo Jima”, a US assault ship.

In the photo Maduro is wearing a grey sweatshirt and sweat pants. He appears to be wearing sensory-deprivation devices, including wrap-around goggles and over-the-ear headphones.

Maduro was captured during US raids on Venezuela on Friday night.

Donald Trump has said that the Venezuelan president is now being taken to New York. The Trump administration has said he will be standing trial for a variety of offences, including drug trafficking.
