Dr. Pepper returns to its origins and bring back one of the most acclaimed flavors: “I want it to be permanent”

Dr Pepper is planning to relaunch a flavor which they brought out last year and proved to be a huge hit with the public.

Dr Pepper Creamy Coconut and Dr Pepper Creamy Coconut Zero Sugar hit stores for a limited run of three months in 2024, with retailers getting their first supplies on May 1 with the final deliveries at the end of July.

Dr Pepper to launch a new flavor in 2025

The flavor, which was available in 12-oz 12-packs and 20-oz bottles, is “the perfect combination of the original 23 Dr Pepper flavors with layers of tropical coconut flavor and a delicious, creamy finish,” the company said at the time.

Parade reports that the company plans to revive the “wildly popular” flavor later this year. The beverage sold at most major retailers already carrying the brand, including Dollar General, 7-Eleven and Kroger.

The response from fans that Dr Pepper could be bringing its Creamy Coconut drink back has been positive.

One fan wrote that they hope the company’s move to revive the Creamy Coconut drink is a permanent one, while others described the flavor as “ungodly good”.

“THANK GOD!” another exclaimed. “I loved this and was really sad when it was over it actually took the crown as my favorite Dr. Pepper.”

Dr Pepper’s other recent releases include: Strawberries and Cream, Cherry, Cherry Vanilla, Blackberry and the classic soda made with real sugar.
