Great Value Apple Juice sold in Walmart recalled for concerning levels of arsenic: Where else is it sold?
Refresco Beverages is expanding a recall of apple juice sold across the United States due to concerning levels of inorganic arsenic sold at major retailers.
Walmart announced on Friday that it was recalling more apple juice due to concerning levels of inorganic arsenic. The ongoing voluntary recall of Refresco Beverages US Inc apple juice products began on 15 August and affects multiple brands sold at other retailers including Aldi, BJs, Brooklyn Fare, Dollar General, Lidl, Market Basket, Walgreens and Weis Markets, according to the FDA.
The recalled products were distributed to retail locations in the District of Columbia, Puerto Rico and 25 states including Alabama, Connecticut, Delaware, Florida, Georgia, Illinois, Indiana, Kentucky, Massachusetts, Maryland, Maine, Michigan, Mississippi, North Carolina, New Hampshire, New Jersey, New York, Ohio, Pennsylvania, Rhode Island, South Carolina, Tennessee, Virginia, Vermont and West Virginia.

This new recall by the Arkansas-based retailer includes the Great Value Apple Juice brand sold at Walmart stores. Specifically, Great Value Apple Juice in six-packs of 8-ounce plastic bottles with Best if used by dates listed as Dec. 26, 2024 & Dec. 27, 2024 and Great Value Apple Juice 96-ounce plastic bottles with Best if used by dates listed as Dec. 26, 2024 through Dec. 28, 2024.
