J.D. Vance comments stun Jennifer Aniston who then prays for his daughter
Rachel wasn’t afraid of standing up for herself in Friends, and the actress behind is making her own stance on America’s future.
When GOP vice presidential candidate, Ohio Senator J.D. Vance, claimed in an interview that Kamala Harris, the now likely Democratic presidential candidate, Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez and Pete Buttigieg were “people without children” who were controlling the “entire future of the Democrats,” he may not have envisaged Hollywood star Jennifer Aniston reacting to it.
Aniston in disbelief over Vance ‘childless’ stance
Donald Trump’s running mate, announced at the recent Republican National Convention in Milwaukee, made the statement during an interview with Tucker Carlson on FOX News in 2021. He went on to say, “How does it make any sense that we’ve turned our country over to people who don’t really have a direct stake in it?”
Aniston, who rocketed to fame in her role as Rachel in Friends, rarely makes political interjections but took to Instagram Stories to, in a gentle way, make her feelings known.
“I truly can’t believe this is coming from a potential VP of the United States,” she began.
“All I can say is… Mr. Vance, I pray that your daughter is fortunate enough to bear children of her own one day. I hope she will not need to turn to IVF as a second option. Because you are trying to take that away from her, too.” The actress had previously shared her own personal story about IVF treatment.
How many children does J.D. Vance have?
J.D. and Usha, the daughter of Indian immigrants and was raised in San Diego, California, (and who was a registered Democrat just a few years ago) got married in an interfaith ceremony in 2014, a year after they graduated from Yale Law School. They share three children: six-year-old Ewan, four-year-old Vivek, and two-year old Mirabel, the latter being the focus of Aniston’s comments.
It’s worth noting regarding Vance’s statement that Harris, who is coming under a torrent of abuse after stepping up in the Democratic ticket, is stepmom to her husband Doug Emhoff’s two children, son Cole, 29, and daughter Ella, 25. Former president Donald Trump has five children from three marriages. These are Don Jr., Ivanka, and Eric Trump with Ivana Trump; Tiffany Trump with Marla Maples; and Barron Trump with Melania Trump.
