Update:

In scenes that looks cut straight from a dystopian horror film of how things can go wrong in the blink of an eye, a woman was fatally shot by ICE agents in Minneapolis as she tried to follow their orders.

Renee Nicole Good, 37, was shot multiple times in the face according to reports as she followed contradictory orders from ICE agents who had surrounded her vehicle. While the US government have said the shooting was done in “self-defence”, video footage appears to show this is simply not the case.

Bystanders watched the chaotic scenes unfold as she tried to turn her car around and move out of the way of the agents blocking her path in the middle of the road. After being shot, one of the pedestrians, a physician, offered to provide medical assistance, but was denied access by the agents.

The harrowing video shows the disorder on the streets as the man, with his hands in the air, pleads with an agent to allow him to cross over the road to help the woman:

“Can I go check her pulse?” begs the distraught doctor before screaming “I’m a physician!” when denied access. The ICE agent coldly responds: “I don’t care.”
