However, there are some key points to bear in mind when wondering when to go for that twenty minute jog.

Morning activity

Exercise in the morning could help with weight loss by burning stored fat and can boost your metabolism for the rest of the day. Many people find that early morning exercise has a psychological effect of freeing up the rest of your day.

Afternoon/evening activity

Given that the body temperature is typically higher, this can enhance muscle function and performance and exercise activity is a great way to relieve stress after a long day.

The drawback for a late session is that it could interfere with sleep if done too close to bedtime.
