The holiday celebrates the No. 1 selling topping created in America by Italian immigrants. The semi-spicy salami, unlike other cured meats, releases a depth of flavor when cooked under direct heat without burning the whole slice.

This year fans of this Italian dish which originated in Naples will be able to take advantage of some deals on National Pepperoni Pizza Day at restaurants across the nation. Here’s a look.
Uno Pizzeria & Grill
Established in 1943 at the corner of Ohio & Wabash in Chicago, Ike Sewell developed deep dish pizza. You can now enjoy Chicago-style pizza, with its “buttery ‘out-of-this-world’ crust that had a tall edge like a fruit pie” topped with tomatoes, Italian spices and loads of cheese, in an Uno Pizzeria & Grill in 14 states and the District of Columbia as well in India and Saudi Arabia.
For National Pepperoni Pizza Day 2024, you can get a free deep dish or thin crust pizza with the purchase of another on Friday, September 20. For orders online use the promo code ‘BOGOFREE’.
Chuck E. Cheese
Families with kids that want to take in some entertainment while they enjoy a pepperoni pizza, or any other flavor, can head down to their local Chuck E. Cheese. On National Pepperoni Pizza Day 2024, Today reports that when customers buy any large one-topping pizza they can get another 50% off at participating locations.
Only one offer per customer and it’s not valid in combination with other discounts. Customers must use the code PEPPERONIPIZZA online or in the restaurant’s app.
Domino’s
Domino’s doesn’t have an offer specific to National Pepperoni Pizza Day 2024, but earlier this month the pizza chain announced that until September 29 customers can take advantage of the chain’s MOREflation deal. When ordering online, you can mix any two or more medium two-topping pizzas for $6.99 each and upgrade one of them to a large for free to help combat “shrinkflation.”
Little Caesars Pizza
Fans of Little Ceasars can get a large pizza topped with pepperoni, Italian sausage and bacon for just $8.99 on National Pepperoni Pizza Day. The 3-Meat Treat special isn’t specifically tied to the holiday, but is available through the Hot-N-Ready option between 4 — 8 pm.
Marco’s Pizza
Pepperoni fanatics, who have a participating Marco’s Pizza location near them, are in luck this National Pepperoni Pizza Day. The company recently announced the arrival of its new Triple Pepperoni Magnifico Pizza.
This new creation “features the addition of an all-new delectably bold shredded pepperoni – along with Marco’s signature crispy, cupped Old World Pepperoni and classic pepperoni.” Customers can pick up a large Triple Pepperoni Magnifico starting at $11.99, the price in California is higher.
Customers in the Golden State must use the code TRIPLEPEPCA for all other participating locations use code TRIPLEPEP. The deal will be available for a limited time only.
