No Kings protests erupt worldwide on Saturday, March 28: These are the countries joining the rallies today

Millions of Americans are expected to take to the streets for the No Kings protest on Saturday March 28. The mass protest movement, launched by the 50501 movement and supported by the American Civil Liberties Union, American Federation of Teachers, Human Rights Campaign, Indivisible and MoveOn, has been organized to show discontent with the Trump administrations authoritarian policies.

Additionally, it’s calling on lawmakers to check the president’s power grab as well as to protect civil rights, stop ICE’s deportation raids, deploying the National Guard to US cities, mass government firings, and save programs like Medicare, Medicaid, Social Security.

“Together, millions will send a clear and unmistakable message: we are a nation of equals, and our country will not be ruled by fear or force,” the organizers said in a statement.

However, in countries that still have a monarchy, the motto ‘No Tyrants’ or ‘No dictators’ has been adopted.
