Along the Mediterranean coast, one will find Leacate Plage, a 1 kilometer long stretch of sand, whose gentle waves will welcome first timers or lifelong nudists.

On the other side of the Mediterranean in Greece, one will find the aptly named Banana Beach, which requires visitors to walk through olive groves for 15 minutes before arriving at this beach, which features smaller and more private coves.

If you are interested in taking part, you’ll want to park and walk towards the cliffs.

A “family-oriented” option in Florida

Next up, we have Haulover Beach Park, in Miami-Dade County, down in Florida.

 According to World Population Review, the Sunshine State is home to over 500 clothing-optional beaches, though one should be sure to do their research as some of those listed are just areas where there tends to be less enforcement of clothing rules.

The city’s webpage about Haulover Beach notes that the northern portion of the beach is “world-renowned” and “family-oriented.”

Blacks Beach is San Diego’s primary location for nude beachgoing and is a great place to surf. “For the most part, surfers and nakes are the only people motivated enough to make the hike to Black’s, so if these aren’t your motives, you might want to think about heading to La Jolla Shores instead,” advises San Diego’s leading tourism organization.
