Psychologist reveals 3 reasons why some people get angry easily and explode

Psychology is a discipline that, among many other things, helps explain the reasons behind everyday human behavior in society. In this context, people who get angry easily tend to draw particular interest from those who don’t understand what drives them to act that way.

Why do some people get angry so quickly?

Silvia Severino, a psychologist and social media educator, shared a TikTok video in which she explains, “in under 60 seconds,” three traits that people who are quick to show irritation tend to have in common.

According to the expert, these individuals are intense rather than inherently conflictive. “They feel everything deeply, and anger is their way of saying something matters too much to ignore,” she explains. “Second, they don’t explode without reason – they explode after holding things in for too long. What you see is the last drop, not the first.”

To conclude her list, Severino describes how these individuals respond when they are genuinely hurt by someone else: “If you truly hurt them, they don’t shout – they disappear. And that silence is far more final than any argument,” she says.

The reaction from viewers

The video, which has racked up tens of thousands of views, nearly 5,000 likes, and around 70 comments in just a few days, has resonated with a wide audience. Many users were quick to share their thoughts in the comments section.

“You described me perfectly,” “That’s so me – I rarely argue. I just walk away for good,” “So true, Silvia, thank you,” and “I completely relate, and I’m not sure if that’s a good or bad thing” are just some of the responses left by viewers.
