Retail giant Target is hiring up to 100,000 seasonal workers in the United States in anticipation of the coming holiday rush. Here’s how you can apply.
The holiday season is nearly upon us and that means one important thing for both retailers and people looking for jobs: seasonal hires.
Amid the high demand for employment during the holiday season, Target is positioning itself as one of the major employers in the United States by announcing the opening of more than 100,000 new jobs.
These vacancies are intended to meet the high demand of the holiday season and seek to cover the labor shortage affecting several retail businesses throughout the country.

According to Target’s official website, employees can expect a competitive wage starting at $15 per hour, which is more than double the federal minimum wage of $7.25 an hour. They can also enjoy up to 10% off on in-store and online purchases, plus an additional 20% off on select wellness items.
The company also provides customers with free mental health support and virtual health care at no or low cost.
Target offers flexible hours, although since these are holiday jobs, workers may be required to work on weekends or around Thanksgiving, Christmas and New Year’s.
