Just days before the annular solar eclipse, the lone star state has revealed the details of the Texas Eclipse Festival, a five-day event that will feature various musical numbers, art and technology installations and a total solar eclipse as the main event.

When is the next solar eclipse?

According to information from the National Aeronautics and Space Administration (NASA), the next total solar eclipse that can be observed in the United States will arrive 8 April 2024, that will be when The long-awaited Eclipse Festival takes place in Texas.

According to the US space agency, the astronomical phenomenon will begin in Mexico and will continue its journey across North America from Texas to New England, before ending in Canada.

Texas Eclipse Festival: Dates, prices and where to buy tickets

The Texas Eclipse Festival event will take place April 5-9, 2024 at the Reveille Peak Ranch, in the town of Burnett, an hour from Austin.

At the moment, the price of the admission has not been announced. However, it is known that children under 12 years old enter for free, while adolescents from 13 to 17 years old will have a special discount, which will be revealed on Thursday, October 19, when tickets go on sale through the official website of the event at 12 pm CT.

Confirmed acts include Bob Moses, LP Giobbi, STS9, CloZee, Big Gigantic, Dirtwire, LSDream, Claude VonStroke, Lee Burridge, The Desert Hearts Crew, Tycho, Zeds Dead and The Disco Biscuits just to mention a few.
