The 50 best hotels in the world in 2023: How many of them are in the US?

The 50 Best has released their 2023 list for hotels, and this year, two hotels in the United States were recognized on the highly regarded list. Both hotels are located in New York City, with Aman ranking twenty-fifth and Equinox narrowly making the list in the forty-eighth slot.

A night at Aman can cost anywhere between $1,900 and $14,000, depending on the dates and how far in advance a guest is able to book. There are six suits, each more luxurious than the last. For those able to afford the high prices, Aman will surely deliver an unforgettable stay in the heart of Manhatten.

The hotel is also home to a spa that spans 25,000 sq ft, which the 50 Best say “redefines the phrase ‘urban sanctuary’,” and features “a supped-up gym offering, a 65-foot-long pool, seven treatment rooms and handful of high-tech beauty treatments, including infrared detox saunas and cryotherapy.”

Heading east to Hudson Yard, we find the Equinox Hotel, the second property that made 50 Best’s list. Advertised as an urban escape, Equinox has four room styles available and four suits that differ in the number of bedrooms they contain.

The 50 Best says that gym lovers will love this hotel as it offers a “first-class” health and wellbeing program, with the design of the rooms focused on enhancing the quality of the guest’s sleep and a restaurant that caters to diverse nutritional needs.
