The Goop founder has released a series of gift guides for the holiday season, including some very lavish presents.
Actress, model and entrepreneur Gwyneth Paltrow is now as well-known for her lifestyle brand Goop as she is for her other endeavors. Sometimes, however, the Goop brand has left her open to ridicule with some quite outlandish output.
Every year Goop marks the holiday season with a series of Christmas gift guides, offering ideas for hard-to-buy-for friends and family. This year the advice spans 11 different gift guides, each with different potential recipients and price ranges.
There is a more modestly-priced ‘Under $100′ guide which includes a $46 bar of soap and a $12 bottle of chili. However it is the ‘Forward-to-Your-SO’ list which has caught attention with a staggering array of luxury gifts.
Included in the list is a Hermès Etoupe Togo Kelly Retourne Bag ($29,750), the Chanel Black Lambskin Mini Rectangular Flap Bag ($8,950) and a luxury trip to North Island Seychelles (rooms start at €10,500 a night).
The high-priced suggestions do not stop there, with other Goop gift guides suggesting a gold and diamond bracelet from Jade Ruzzo ($39,900) and a Bird on a Rock necklace by Tiffany & Co ($35,000). Perhaps the most extravagant of all is a Hermès jukebox, with a price that is available only upon request but similar models have been priced at $360,000.
