Duda made these statements upon his return from a trip to the United States, where he met with Trump on the sidelines of the Conservative Political Action Conference (CPAC).

The Polish president expressed his satisfaction, stating that Trump “plans to strengthen the presence of the US military in Poland,” a conviction he had already voiced a few days ago after meeting in Warsaw with US Secretary of Defense Pete Hegseth.

According to Duda, “there is no fear that the US presence in Poland will decrease; rather, it should be expected to intensify.”

Trump Accepts Invitation to Visit Poland Soon

Additionally, the Polish president announced that Trump accepted an invitation to visit Poland soon, though he did not specify a date.

The meeting between Duda and Trump took place as the US leader prepares to meet with other European leaders, such as French President Emmanuel Macron and British Prime Minister Keir Starmer, at the White House.
