November is distinguished for being one of the months with the most shopping deals in the United States, as Thanksgiving Day marks the beginning of the biggest discount weekend, from which a whole variety of consumer events get going, including the Black Friday, Small Business Saturday, Cyber Monday and Travel Tuesday.

The most famous of all, probably, is Black Friday which represents a day of sales in various stores, supermarkets and other vendors in the country, while the Small Business Saturday is intended to increase the sales of small businesses and the Cyber Monday to encourage online shopping, but what about Travel Tuesday?

What is Travel Tuesday 2023?

The celebration of Travel Tuesday is relatively new. The event emerged in 2016 with the aim of extending the week of discounts and encouraging people to buy trips to plan their vacations in advance, which makes it one of the best days not only to book flights, but also to find great discounts on hotels and other vacation packages.

Among the airlines participating in Travel Tuesday are American Airlines, Delta Air Lines, Southwest Airlines, Spirit Airlines and United Airlines, just to mention a few. Discounts can range from 5 to 60%, so we recommend you keep an eye out once Travel Tuesday arrives.
