Bad Bunny, J-Lo and Ricky Martin show their support for Kamala: What other Latino celebs are backing Harris?

Celebrities have been in the habit of backing presidential candidates for more than a hundred years. This continues to be true in this year’s election, with stars giving their endorsement in the hope that their voice will help sway voters.

Famous Latinos are among those who have been speaking out on whom they support this year, in a particularly crucial election. The Latino vote is a significant one, as about one in 10 voters in 2020 were from this voting bloc.

Bad Bunny, J-Lo and Ricky Martin show their support for Kamala: What other Latino celebs are backing Harris?

During Donald Trump’s rally in New York, comedian Tony Hinchcliffe made racist remarks, which included calling Puerto Rico a “floating island of garbage.”

Soon after the comments, Puerto Rican rapper and singer Bad Bunny signaled his support for Vice President Kamala Harris by sharing her video on social media where she talks about her plans for the U.S. territory and how Trump failed the island after it was hit by hurricanes.

Meanwhile, another Puerto Rican singer, Ricky Martin soon posted on Instagram, “This is what they think of us. Vote for @kamalaharris.”

The two stars are the latest Latino artists to endorse the vice president. Jennifer Lopez and Marc Anthony shared the same clip of Harris. Mark Anthony also came out on a video released by the Harris campaign where he spoke out on Trump’s polices against immigrants in the past.
