Walmart is discounting this $1,000 metal shed to just $510 and now everyone wants it
Walmart offers major discounts and projects confidence as tariffs go into effect on China’s imports to the US.
Though many consumers are bracing for the impact of tariffs to lead to higher prices, Walmart has projected confidence that the company will be able to continue delivering low prices to shoppers. “Nothing about the current environment impacts our confidence in our business or our strategy,” reported CEO and President Doug McMillon in a press release put out on Wednesday, April 9. The company outlook came before the White House walked back the most punitive tariffs imposed on countries, except China.
China is being punished for retaliating and will see exports taxed at 125 percent.

Walmart offers deals to prepare shoppers for the summer
Though Walmart depends on imports from China, Walmart leaders believe they have “the right business model design” to allow them to “be where the customers are,” as the impact of tariffs is felt throughout the economy in the coming months.
With summer just around the corner, many might be looking to upgrade their backyard.
Walmart has pointed to the ‘deals’ they continue to offer customers, one being a large outdoor metal shed on sale for $509.99, down from nearly $1,000. NETAJE is the brand behind the discounted shed, with the description online claiming that it is easy to install. Buyers can choose between a black or white option for their 10’ by 14’ shed.
Another option produced by LZBEITEM, which once set up an 11’ by 13’ shed, is also on sale for $699.00, with Walmart touting a $450.00 savings.
