Watch how majestic the crater of the Popocatépetl volcano looks from the skies
Drone footage captured by Mexico’s Secretary of the Navy shows majestic images from the crater of the Popocatépetl volcano.
The Secretary of the Navy in Mexico (SEMAR) flew over the crater of the Popocatépetl volcano at 10 a.m. on Thursday in order to analyze and obtain more precise images of the activity of the colossus, entering into the heart of the second active volcano in Mexico.
The video was captured with a SEMAR drone and the footage is almost three minutes of beautiful, majestic images of the crater. After detailing the Popocatépetl from above, the Mexican Civil Protection authorities analyzed that up to today, tremors of continuous amplitude are still being registered, but seems to be decreasing, while the volcanic alert traffic light remains in yellow phase 3 .
