When is the next Powerball drawing? How much is the jackpot now?
Before Monday’s drawing, the jackpot stood at an estimated $58 million, with a $26.2 million cash option. However, after no tickets matched all six numbers, the top figure has risen to an estimated $69 million ahead of the next drawing, which is on Wednesday, May, 13, at 10:59 p.m. ET/7:59 p.m. PT. The cash value is now $31.2 million.

Per Powerball organizers, a single ticket - which costs $2 - has a one-in-292,201,338 chance of scooping the jackpot.
If you do win the pot, you are given two options:
- Collect the jackpot amount in growing annual instalments spread over 29 years
- Receive the smaller, cash-option figure as an up-front, lump-sum payment
What other prizes are up for grabs?
While the Powerball jackpot captures the headlines, there are also numerous smaller amounts to be won. Secondary prizes range from $4 to $1 million or more, depending on how many winning numbers a player matches.
Non-jackpot prizes can be multiplied by adding the Power Play option for an additional $1.
