It most likely still feels like summer where you live but you may have noticed that the smell of autumn is in the air, especially if you are anywhere near a Starbucks. The Seattle-based coffee house’s fall menu is back having become available on Thursday, August 22 nationwide.

Customers can now satiate their craving for the original pumpkin spice flavor that gave birth to a trend which has spread the seasonal flavor into all sorts of food and beverage products and even into things like deodorants and scented candles. The Pumpkin Spice Latte will be joined by other established fall menu items at the coffee house chain as well as some new ones.

Starbucks expanded its apple-flavored drinks this year introducing the Iced Apple Crisp Nondairy Cream Chai this year along with the Iced Caramel Apple Cream Latte and the Iced Honey Apple Almondmilk. The last two are only available through the chain’s Starbucks app.

Customers can pair the fall menu drinks with Pumpkin Cream Cheese Muffin, Baked Apple Croissant and Pumpkin & Pepita Loaf which are returning this year or the newest addition, the Raccoon Cake Pop.

What does the Starbucks Raccoon Cake Pop taste like and how long will it be available?

As with all of the fall menu items, the Raccoon Cake Pop will only be available for a limited time and while supplies last. Starbucks describes the newest seasonal treat as a combination of “vanilla cake and buttercream, dipped in chocolaty icing.” The 62 gram delight on a stick with a whimsical critter design, as one could guess from that description, tastes like vanilla as both the cake and its frosting are imbued with the spice.
