Where and how to watch Barack Obama’s speech at the DNC 2024? Time, on TV and online

Former President of the United States Obama and wife Michelle will both speak in Chicago on Tuesday in support of Kamala Harris.

The Democratic Party National Convention (DNC) got underway on Monday, with the respective candidacies of Kamala Harris and Tim Walz for president and vice president of United States to be made official.

Current president Joe Biden, who had been due to go up against Donald Trump in the 2024 US elections before dropping, opened the 2024 DNC with an inaugural address, while Golden State Warriors and Team USA basketball coach Steve Kerr also caught the eye with a defiant message for Trump.

One of his predecessors, Barack Obama, as well as his wife Michelle, will give a speech on Tuesday to the estimated 50,000 attendees at the convention in Chicago.

“A Bold Vision for America’s Future” under Harris is the theme for the the second day of the event. Illinois Governer JB Pritzker will offer a welcome, with the Obamas headlining the primetime speeches. The former First Lady will speak first, with her husband following her onto the stage.

How and where to watch Barack Obama’s speech

As former President Obama’s appearance is a primetime event, it will take place at some point between 7pm and 11pm ET. The exact time of his address hasn’t been revealed.

Primetime events will air on all major news networks, including ABC, CBS, CNN, C-SPAN, Fox, NBC, MSNBC, PBS, and others.

Obama’s speech, as well as those of the other speakers, will also be available to stream on the DNC’s official YouTube and X channels, as well as the convention’s official website.
