Former President Donald Trump will give a one-on-one interview on Univision with award-winning journalist Enrique Acevedo at Mar-a-Lago, Trump’s residence in Florida.

The interview, entitled “Donald Trump: La Entrevista”, will be broadcast on Thursday, November 9 at 10 p.m. ET, a day after the third Republican primary debate, in which Trump did not participate.

The event will be simulcast throughout the US on Univision and Unimás, and also on the ViX streaming platform’s news channel, Noticias 24/7.

Trump spoke to Acevedo about his plans for the future, his legal troubles, and the state of the nation, among other topics.

Who is Enrique Acevedo, the Mexican journalist who will interview Donald Trump tonight?

Acevedo is widely recognized as one of the major voices of the Latino community, and has been named one of the “Top Latinos in American Newsrooms” by The Huffington Post.

Born on March 6, 1978 in Mexico City, Acevedo made a name for himself in the United States as a correspondent for CBS News, being the first Mexican to be part of one of the major morning newscasts in the country.

Acevedo graduated with a degree in journalism from Columbia University in 2006. Since then, he has worked as a correspondent on the show 60 Minutes and as a host of Noticiero Univision Edición Nocturna for almost ten years.

In 2017, he won a News and Documentary Emmy Award for “The Amazon: A Paradise For Sale”, which was produced by Univision.

Currently, the journalist is 45 years old and works as the host of the primetime newscast on Televisa, “On Point”, which used to be hosted by Denise Merker.
