Cause of Zoom failure unclear

According to the website Downdetector, the number of reported Zoom outages rose sharply at about 3:00 p.m. ET/12 noon PT.

It is currently unclear what has caused the outage, or how long the problem will take to be resolved.

In a brief statement, Zoom said: “We are experiencing an outage that is impacting some users, but a restore is underway.”
