The first Nintendo Direct of the year is over and these are all the titles the company will be bringing to the Nintendo Switch throughout 2022 and beyond.

Fire Emblem Warriors - Three Hopes, Mario Strikers Battle League and the big surprise of Xenoblade Chronicles 3 are some of the titles that Nintendo presented in its first Nintendo Direct of 2022. Let's review the details of the games coming this 2022 to Nintendo Switch.

Fire Emblem Warriors - Three Hopes

Fire Emblem Three Houses mixes with Fire Emblem Warriors, blending the newest title in the Fire Emblem franchise with the musou. Edelgard, Dimitri, and Claude are back and the title will arrive on June 24, 2022.

Advance Wars 1+2: Re-Boot Camp

New details of this remake of the classic Game Boy Advance strategy titles were presented. The game will have some improvements, the commanders will have voices, maps can be created and an online mode will allow us to face friends and enemies on the battlefield. A new release date was presented, now arriving on April 8.

No Man’s Sky

A brief glimpse reminds us that No Man's Sky is preparing its arrival on the Nintendo Switch. The trailer gives us a sneak peek at some of the details the title has in store for console users. No Man's Sky will arrive this summer.

Mario Strikers Battle League

One of the first surprises of the evening was the return of Mario and company's soccer game. While fantasy soccer is back, new elements will be available on the field, such as equipment that will enhance the characters' abilities. The game will also feature an online league. Mario Strikers Battle League will arrive on June 10.

Splatoon 3 Salmon Run Next Wave

A first look at Splatoon 3's co-op was shown, introducing new elements for this already classic mode and introducing the giant Salmonid. Splatoon will arrive in Summer 2022.

Front Mission 1st and Front Mission 2

A remake of the first Front Mission is coming to Nintendo Switch. This mecha title will arrive this summer. Its sequel Front Mission 2 will also arrive as a remake.

Disney Speedstorm

A Free-To-Play racing game inspired by Disney and Pixar is coming to Nintendo Switch. Mickey, Mulan and Sully from Monsters Inc. are some of the characters players will be able to use. The title will be receiving free updates and will be available in the summer.

Star Wars: The Force Unleashed

Darth Vader's secret apprentice will be back on the Nintendo Switch with this remastering of The Force Unleashed. The title will feature the motion controls from the Wii version for use with the Joy-Cons.

Assasin’s Creed II: The Ezio Collection

The already announced Assassin's Creed Ezio Collection got a mention during the stream. The game will have some extra features on the console such as touch screen use. The title will arrive on February 15.

SD Gundam Battle Alliance

Gundam is coming to the Nintendo Switch this year. Although it was a sneak preview, it was mentioned that we will be able to use up to 3 mobile suites in campaign, being able to form alliances with other players. Online co-op mode will also be available, although a Nintendo Switch Online subscription will be required.

Chrono Cross The Radical Dreamers Edition

The much rumored remaster of Chrono Cross is a reality. This version will feature quality of life improvements, a fully remastered soundtrack, as well as the inclusion of Radical Dreamers, the prequel to Chrono Cross. The title will be available on console on April 7.

Kirby and the Forgotten Land

A new teaser for Kirby and the Forgotten Land was presented, showing a little more of what's to come in this title. The Mouthful Mode was presented, where Kirby will be able to absorb larger objects, giving Kirby new abilities. It was also shown how rescuing Waddle Dees will grow Waddle Dee Town, giving new activities. Kirby and the Forgotten Land will arrive on March 25.

MLB The Show 22

Although it was already announced last week, MLB The Show will arrive for the first time on Nintendo Switch. Among the details that stand out, the title will have Cross-progress, so you can take your progress to any of the versions of this game regardless of the console. The game will arrive on April 5 on Nintendo Switch.

Kingdom Hearts Integrum Masterpiece for Cloud

Although this cloud version of Kingdom Hearts will arrive tomorrow, it featured a brief trailer as a reminder. The title will be available in both a full version and each title separately.

Klonoa Phantasy Reverie Series

Bandai Nacmo's titles Klonoa: Door to Phantomile and Klonoa 2: Lunatea's Veil will arrive as a collection on Nintendo Switch on July 8.

Portal: Companion Collection

Portal and Portal 2 are coming to Nintendo Switch, bringing one of the best first-person puzzle titles to Nintendo's hybrid console.

Live A Live

The RPG title never before released outside of Japan, Live a Live will arrive in a 2.5HD remaster. Live a Live will arrive on July 22.

Nintendo Switch Sports

A new version of Wii Sports is coming to Nintendo Switch, bringing the classic sports of Tennis, Bowling and Chambara. Three other new sports will be included in this new version: Soccer, Badminton and Volleyball. The game will feature local as well as online play. The title will arrive on April 29 and will include a summer update for Soccer, and another update in the fall that will add Golf. An online test will be held from February 18 to 20.

Taiko no tatsujin Rythm Festival

The quirky drum game is coming to Nintendo Switch. An orchestral version of The Legend of Zelda will be added and will feature a total of 76 songs and single and multiplayer game modes. A paid song subscription will be available at launch, adding over 500 songs to the game.

Triangle Strategy

In addition to presenting a new story trailer, it was announced that the game's demo will be available today, letting players try the title up to chapter 3 and allowing them to transfer their progress once the title is released.

Cuphead

A quick reminder that the DLC, The Delicious Last Course, will arrive on June 30.

Metroid Dread updates

Two updates were announced for Metroid Dread. The first one will arrive today bringing Dread and Rookie modes. While in the first one you will die by touching any enemy, the other one will add a recovery mode. The second update will arrive in April and will include Boss Rush mode.

Nintendo Switch Online

For the Nintendo Switch Online service, it was announced that the classics Earthbound and Earthbound Beginnings will arrive today.

Mario Kart 8 Deluxe

Remastered tracks from across the Mario Kart franchise will arrive as paid DLC for Mario Kart 8 Deluxe. The Booster Course Pass will include 48 tracks from Super Mario Kart to Mario Kart Tour. These will arrive in waves, with the first arriving on March 18 and the rest arriving through the end of 2023. The Boster Course Pass will cost $24.99, or will be included for Nintendo Switch Online + Expansion Pack subscribers.

Xenoblade Chronicles 3

The final surprise of the evening was Xenoblade Chronicles 3. While no details were given, it was mentioned that this new story ties together the worlds shown in Xenoblade Chronicles and Xenoblade Chronicles 2. The title will arrive on Nintendo Switch in September 2022.
