he Pokémon GO Johto Tour is drawing closer every day. This Saturday, the Generation II Tour will be held, one day before Pokémon Day. Just like last year, players who purchase their respective tickets will be able to access exclusive Pokémon. In this article, we are going to tell you the differences between the Gold Edition and Silver Version as well as the price, celebration date, and exclusive events for the event. When is Pokémon GO Johto Tour?
The Pokémon GO Johto Tour will be held this Saturday, February 26, 2022 from 9:00 am to 9:00 pm local time. A total of twelve hours where players will be able to participate in a multitude of activities, research tasks and raids focused mainly on the Johto region. In addition to the free experience, in which all players will be able to participate without paying anything, there will also be a ticketed experience with benefits and additional content.
Pokémon GO Johto Tour price, how much does it cost?
The Pokémon GO Johto Tour tickets are not free: they are priced at $11.99 (or equivalent) and allow us to buy the Gold or Silver Version, each with its own exclusive benefits. To buy the ticket simply open Pokémon GO, head to the store and pay the $11.99 fee.
These are the Pokémon that we can get in each of the editions, Gold or Silver. We can only choose one. As you can see, apart from the starters (Totodile, Cyndaquil and Chicorita), the rest are exclusive to each Edition.
All these Pokémon will increase their chances of being found in shiny form.

Red Gyarados and Celebi, Exclusive Event Encounters
In addition to the above, the Pokémon GO Johto Tour will have an exclusive event investigation that will culminate in an encounter with shiny Gyarados (red Gyarados) and Celebi, Pokémon Generation II's unique Pokémon. All Celebi caught during the event will be introduced to the Magical Leaf attack.
