Nintendo eShop Sales & discounts of the week

This week, the Nintendo eShop has received a number of discounts from various companies within its catalog. From Japanese Publishers celebrating Golden Week, those celebrating the upcoming Star Wars Day on May 4 next week, to those who have decided it's a good time to give discounts on games.

These discounts have different start and end dates, so we will be addressing each of these separately, specifying dates, as well as some game recommendations.

Ubisoft Spring Savings

From Ubisoft, there's still time to find discounts of up to 80%. This promotion has already started some time ago, but it will last until May 4 at 11:59 pm PT. Among the featured discounts we can find:

Star Wars Celebration Sale

May the 4th be with you! Star Wars Day is just around the corner and Lucasfilm Games has some of the recent remasters at discounted prices to feel the Force still flowing in some of the great titles of yesteryear. You have until May 5 at 11:59 pm PT to get these discounts. Among the highlights are:

Square Enix Golden Week Sale

One of the publishers ready to celebrate Golden Week on the eShop is Square Enix with a large collection of old and new RPGs to choose from. Discounts are available now through May 11 at 11:59 pm PT. The selection is complicated, but here are some titles that should be on your Nintendo Switch:

Capcom Golden Week Sale

Capcom is also ready to bring discounts for Golden Week. We have until May 15 at 11:59 pm PT to get discounts not only on the Nintendo Switch, but also on the Nintendo 3DS (remember that their store will stop accepting credit cards next month, so this probably is the last chance to get your hands on some games).
