Pokémon GO gets free items with Prime Gaming; how to redeem
Pokémon GO is receiving free rewards through the Prime Gaming program. Throughout this summer, member shoudl receive rewards as the months go by.
Niantic and Twitch are teaming up to offer free items through Prime Gaming. All Amazon Prime subscribers with an account on the platform will be able to redeem these rewards for Pokémon GO. The promotion starts this May 19 and will run until at least July. On the other hand, up to 3 rounds of content will be offered in June.
The first batch will allow you to add 30 Poké Balls, 5 Maximum Revive and a Star Piece. Remember that this last item will allow you to gain 50% more Stardust for 30 minutes.
How to redeem Prime Gaming's promo code in Pokémon GO
- Go to this link and log in to your Twitch account.
- Once inside click on the available reward box. You will see a window open where you will confirm receipt.
- Now you will see a code. Copy it and go to this web page.
- You will be on the official site to redeem Niantic offers in Pokémon GO. Now you must log in with the account you use in the game.
- When you log in your profile name will appear above the box to enter the code. If the profile is correct, paste the code and click on 'send'.
- The rewards will appear as bubbles on the map the next time you log into the game.
These rewards will be added to your profile even if you have exceeded your storage limit.
In terms of Pokémon GO news, the Alola season will say goodbye with a final event between May 25 and 31. You'll find a special research story in the store from that date for $4.99.
