ID@Xbox Summer Game Fest Demo kicks off June 21 with more than 30 games to try out
Microsoft is hosting a digital event on Xbox One and Series X|S where we will be able to try out more than 30 demos of indie games that are still to come.
Similar to Valve's Steam Next Fest, Microsoft will be holding an event in the coming days to allow us to try out dozens of demos of indie (and many not-so-indie) games that could become tomorrow's big hits. Called ID@Xbox Summer Game Fest Demo, this initiative will take place between June 21 and 27, will feature more than 30 demos and has been organized in collaboration with Geoff Keighley's Summer Game Fest.
There are several details to note about the event. First, there will be demos for Xbox One and Xbox Series X|S. The second is that these demos will only be available in the store that week. After that time they will be automatically deleted from the interface. The third one is that the fun of this idea is to share some feedback with the creators. Either through their social media or through their official forums, any criticism, comment or recommendation is welcome. And finally, although there are demos of games that are practically finished, there are also demos of projects in a very early stage, so you shouldn't be surprised by a bug or technical problem here or there (which is worth reporting).
