Pokémon Snap arrives on Nintendo Switch Online + Expansion Pack
Bring out your inner photographer and enjoy this new Nintendo 64 classic if you are a subscriber to the service.
Another Nintendo 64 classic has joined the Nintendo Switch + Expansion Pack catalog. This is Pokémon Snap, a title that came out on Nintendo's home console back in 1999 and that poses a different concept to the rest of the video games in the saga. This time, we continue capturing the cute pocket creatures, but not in the way you might think at first glance: we do it through the camera.
Pokémon Snap invites us to observe Pokémon in various places in their natural habitat and allows us to photograph the most original shots. Another of the brand's most important video games for this console, Pokémon Stadium, is not yet available on the service. For a time, Pokémon Snap was the first time players viewed some of the original 151 Pokémon in 3D, a real delight for the eyes (at that time).
All the Nintendo 64 games on Nintendo Switch Online
Nintendo added last month Kirby 64: The Crystal Shards, a platformer starring the pink ball that debuted on Switch Online with a serious bug. However, from Nintendo announced that they were working on a solution, so they subsequently released a patch. Since the first games were released, there have been certain emulation bugs, which the company has been gradually correcting.
The spirit of Pokémon Snap was revived on Nintendo Switch with New Pokémon Snap, a video game that revives the idea and brings it to a modern system.
Nintendo Switch Online + Expansion Pack subscription pricing is $49.99 for the individual membership and $79.99 for the family membership.
