New Nintendo Mini Direct announced centered on third-party games

The streaming event will last around 25 minutes and will be held next Tuesday, June 28.

Update:
New Nintendo Mini Direct announced centered on third-party games

The leaks were true, to a certain extent. Nintendo has revealed a new Nintendo Direct Mini Partner Showcase, which will take place next Tuesday, June 28 starting at 9:00 AM ET. According to the company, this upcoming edition of the streaming event will focus its attention on third-party video games. There will be a total of 25 minutes of information about the projects that are underway.

All the news for Nintendo Switch can be followed live on Nintendo's official YouTube channel. As usual, the official press release does not preview any of the video games that will be present during the event.

If you don't want to miss a single second of what is revealed, check out the schedule below. As in the past, MeriStation USA will be keeping a close eye on all the information unveiled, so we'll be updating the site with the most important news.

What time is the Nintendo Direct Mini on June 28?

  • 9:00 AM ET
  • 8:00 AM CT
  • 6:00 AM PT

What can we expect from this Nintendo Direct?

As this is a Nintendo Direct Mini focused on third-party titles, it's worth remembering that this means we won't see direct Nintendo titles like Splatoon 3, or The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild. On the other hand, we can expect more big-name titles as opposed to what might appear in an Indie World. This could be a perfect time to see something related to Mario + Rabbids: Sparks of Hope, or even the very elusive Bayonetta 3, which is still in Nintendo's plans for this year.

Although this year we didn't have the traditional Nintendo Direct in June that was held under the E3 banner, the company seems to be sharing some information about its upcoming games, albeit in dribs and drabs. Just last week we had a big preview related to their upcoming first-party title, Xenoblade Chronicles 3, which you can read all the information given last week here.
