Skate 4 makes its comeback in a short video: how to register to play in the closed trials

The development process of the new video game of the Skate franchise continues at Full Circle, the studio founded to develop this release and whatever is to come in the future. Although there is still a lot of work ahead, the team wants to involve the community, so it has announced the first tests. However, the build is very early, as can be seen in the very short video that goes along with the tweet.

"We told you we’re back, and we’re still working on it - but it’s time for you to see what we’ve been up to. It’s still early, but we want to get this right and that means we want you to be a part of it." According to the official website, Skate contributors participants have "the chance to play early versions of the game," as well as submit feedback throughout development.

"We need to scale access to skate. Gradually as development progresses to ensure a smooth experience, and that means we can’t guarantee how soon you’ll get to play." Electronic Arts has opened up a space on its website for anyone interested in being part of this process to sign up, although signing up will not guarantee being selected.

How to sign up for the Electronic Arts PlayTesting program

  1. First of all, you need to be logged in with an EA account.
  2. If you don't have one, you can register for free here.
  3. Go to this website and log in by clicking on "Sign in".
  4. Follow the registration steps.

For the time being, the tests are being conducted only on PC via Origin. Selected players will have to sign a confidentiality agreement, so they will not be able to distribute images or videos.

"We’re incredibly passionate about skate. and want to ensure we’re building the best possible game, and that’s why we want you playing and providing feedback early enough for us to make meaningful decisions and changes ahead of a worldwide launch," they explain on the FAQ page.

Skate has no confirmed release date.
