God of War Ragnarök confirms release date and editions

It's official: God of War Ragnarök will arrive on PS5 and PS4 on November 9. Santa Monica ceases the rumors and marks on the calendar the most awaited date by the followers of Kratos. Along with the news has been shared a new trailer that shakes the relationship between father and son. You can see it in the header of this news.

All God of War Ragnarök Editions

PlayStation has taken advantage of the announcement to confirm the multiple editions that will be available from day one. It highlights the Jötnar edition, which offers a replica of Thor's hammer 16 inches. Alongside it appears a vinyl disc with two songs, a cloth map of all of Yggdrasil, a steelbook, a Legendary Draupnir Ring neatly tucked inside a pouch, two wooden statuettes, pins, Brok’s Dice Set and multiple digital bonuses. No game disc is included; you will see a code to redeem at PS Store inside the package to receive the full version.

On the other hand, the collector's edition is one step below it. It only incorporates the replica hammer, figurines, Brok’s Dice Set, and a steelbook, in addition to the digital elements and the full game in the digital version. The standard edition will see a special launch edition that offers players special armor for Kratos and Atreus.

The PS Store will offer the digital deluxe edition, which includes two special weapons, an armor for each protagonist, a PS4 theme, avatars for your profile, a digital art mini-book by Dark Horse and the digital soundtrack. Pricing for any of these has not been revealed at this time.

All editions will be available for pre-order on July 15. Remember that the update between generations will require an additional payment of $10. If you buy the PS4 version, for example, you will have to pay that price if you want to get the digital PS5 version.
