The Rings of Power shines in its final trailer full of emotion, fantasy and lots of Galadriel

Amazon releases one last spectacular trailer for The Lord of the Rings: The Rings of Power less than two weeks before its release on Prime Video.

Update:
The Rings of Power shines in its final trailer full of emotion, fantasy and lots of Galadriel

The final trailer for The Rings of Power, the new series set in the Lord of the Rings universe that will premiere on Prime Video on September 2, is here. This time the trailer focuses on the settings of Middle-earth during the Second Age and how Tolkien's legendary and beloved characters came together against all odds and despite the distance to protect themselves from a terrible evil. Clashing fates and unlikely characters were put to the test during a pivotal moment in the world's history.

In addition, the new Rings of Power trailer takes a look at key cast members, including Galadriel (played by Morfydd Clark), Elrond (Robert Aramayo), High King Gil-galad (Benjamin Walker) and Celebrimbor (Charles Edwards). We also see the hairy Elanor "Nori" Brandipié (Markella Kavenagh) and Largo Brandipié (Dylan Smith); the Stranger (Daniel Weyman); the Númenóreans Isildur (Maxim Baldry), Eärien (Ema Horvath), Elendil (Lloyd Owen), Pharazôn (Trystan Gravelle) and Queen Regent Míriel (Cynthia Addai-Robinson); dwarf King Durin III (Peter Mullan), Prince Durin IV (Owain Arthur) and Princess Disa (Sophia Nomvete); as well as Southlanders Halbrand (Charlie Vickers); Bronwyn (Nazanin Boniadi); and elf Arondir (Ismael Cruz Córdova).

When are the new episodes of The Rings of Power coming out?

We know that The Rings of Power will premiere on Amazon Prime Video next September 2, but also the schedule of the rest of the episodes. The series will be out every Friday early in the morning. Here are its release dates:

  1. Episode 1: September 2 at 6:00 pm PT
  2. Episode 2: September 2 at 6:00 pm PT
  3. Episode 3: September 9 at 9:00 pm PT
  4. Episode 4: September 16th at 9:00 pm PT
  5. Episode 5: September 23 at 9:00 pm PT
  6. Episode 6: September 30 at 9:00 pm PT
  7. Episode 7: October 7 at 9:00 pm PT
  8. Episode 8: October 14th at 9:00 pm PT

It is worth remembering that the series has signed for 5 seasons and about 50 hours, so, as its own showrunners have explained, "there are things from the first season that will not be resolved until season five". This is what one of them, JD Payne, had to say about the project: "They knew from the beginning that was the size of the canvas – this was a big story with a clear beginning, middle and end."
