The popular fighting game has released a new update that brings with it various balancing and adjustments for several characters. Here are the details.

New buffs and nerfs in MultiVersus: Iron Giant, Finn, Arya, Harley Quinn...

The most successful fighting game in recent years continues to adjust the experience thanks to constant changes and balancing. Part of the new patch that is already available in all versions of the title, continues to make the necessary adjustments, modifying the power of each character. Up to 4 fighters are in the new list of buffs and nerfs. We review all the changes and new features.

Characters that have been buffed

Finn, Harley Quinn and Arya

They are all Assassin-type characters and therefore have Crystal Cannon, a passive ability that makes them more fragile than others and they receive 14% extra damage when hit. It is a measure that balances the high offensive power they have. With the intention of making the fights fairer, starting today they will receive an additional 5%, instead of the aforementioned 14%. In addition, the game developers have stated that they are considering the possibility of eliminating the skill for good.

Characters that have been nerfed

Iron Giant

This character is among the players' favorites and continuously appears as a favorite choice in many winners, something more than enough for Player First Games to investigate the reasons. We don't know their conclusions, but the Iron Giant has reduced his power, as he was too powerful when fighting in combination with Velma. The damage of the hit that ends his turn has been lowered and the reuse time of his special ground attacks has been increased from 23 to 25 seconds of waiting.

In addition, a glitch affecting Superman has also been fixed, allowing him to hit enemies even without hitting them under certain circumstances.

MultiVersus is available for free on PC, PS5, PS4, Xbox Series X|S and Xbox One. A crossover that brings together Warner Bros. characters on the battlefield in the purest Super Smash Bros. style, which already has more than 20 million players and is a true mass phenomenon. The game started its Season 1 just a few days ago: in this link you have all the information.
