In addition, members of EA Play and EA Play Pro subscriptions will be able to access several of these packs from the same date. This includes The Sims 4 Get To Work in the basic mode, while the Pro extends to the Toddler Stuff Pack. On the other hand, those who bought the basic version will be able to receive the Desert Luxe Kit for free between September 14 and October 17. You will have to redeem it from within the game.
"We’ve welcomed millions of players to The Sims and watched in awe as they unleashed their imaginations, discovered and connected with ideas, experiences and versions of themselves, both in-game and real life," Maxis reveals on its official website. "Our community has continued to inspire us with the billions of unique Sims they’ve created, the countless stories they’ve told, and the remarkable builds they've designed. "
The studio explains that this decision will make them "more dedicated than ever to creating new and meaningful experiences for the game" as they continue to "develop Sims packs, kits and express releases for the foreseeable future". They will discuss the future of the franchise in a special webcast on October 18, 2022, at 10 am PDT. Called Behind The Sims Summit, the YouTube and Twitch channels will share what we can expect in the coming months.
