Ursaluna will arrive in Pokémon GO during Teddiursa Community Day
Ursaluna, the evolution under the full moon of Ursaring, will debut in Pokémon GO on November 12 on Teddiursa Community Day.
Pokémon GO will welcome one of the latest additions from Hisui. Ursaluna, the peculiar evolution of Ursaring, will arrive to mobile free-to-play coinciding with Teddiursa Community Day, scheduled for next Saturday, November 12 between 2:00 PM and 5:00 PM (local time).
For those who don't know the peculiarity of this evolution, we must go back to the release of Pokémon Legends Arceus to learn about it. During the game we could find a very rare item, called a Peat Block. With it, we could evolve an Ursaring to become Ursaluna as long as you used it on full moon nights.
Niantic will transfer part of the mechanics to Pokémon GO. You will be able to evolve your captured Ursaring as long as a full moon appears at night. There will be a special period as part of its debut so you can add it to the dex from day one. From 2:00 PM on Saturday, November 12 until 6:00 AM on Sunday, November 13 (local time) you will be able to evolve Ursaluna as many Ursaring as you want, as long as you have enough Candy. Specifically, 100 Teddiursa Candies will be required per evolution.
What are the Teddiursa Community Day bonuses?
The Ursaluna you get during the event as an evolution of Ursaring will receive the featured attack High Horsepower, which deals 100 damage in Trainer Combats and 110 damage in Gyms and raids.
