Wo Long: Fallen Dynasty reveals its release date, special editions

The newest action RPG by the makers of Nioh, Wo Long: Fallen Dynasty, has just revealed the release date. The game will arrive much earlier than expected to give us our usual taste of humility on March 3, 2023.

From what we’ve seen, the game is very likely to carry the Soulslike torch next year (given that Elden Ring has yet to announce any expansions). Our friends in MeriStation Spain have mentioned that Wo Long is “even more challenging and aggressive than Sekiro.”

Team Ninja made use of the occasion to share with audiences the three different editions in which we’ll be able to find the game this coming March 3rd. Asides from the standard edition, there’ll be a special physical edition that includes a steelbox, and another digital deluxe edition that comes with future DLC, art and music from the game. Here’s all the details we know:

Wo Long: Fallen Dynasty Standard Edition

  • Physical or digital version of the game
  • Baihu armor as preorder bonus
  • Zhuque armor (digital version exclusive preorder bonus)
Full screen

Wo Long: Fallen Dynasty Steelbook Launch Edition

  • Physical format disc
  • Collector’s Steelbook
  • Crown of Zhurong and Crown of Gonggong bonus DLC
  • Baihu armor and Zhuque armor as preorder bonus
Full screen

Digital Deluxe Edition

  • Digital version of the game
  • Digital artbook
  • Digital mini soundtrack
  • DLC Season Pass
  • Quinglong armor
  • Baihu armor
  • Zhuque armor
Full screen

Wo Long: Fallen Dynasty will launch on March 3, 2023. The game will be available on Xbox Series X|S, Xbox One, PlayStation 5, PlayStation 4, on PC via Windows and Steam, and will be available day one with Xbox Game Pass on console and PC.
