Zorua and Zoroark are already available in Pokémon GO, and just like Ditto, they are special Pokémon that are captured in a very peculiar way. In this Pokémon GO guide, we tell you how to capture Zorua and how to capture Zoroark.

How to capture Zorua and Zoroark in Pokémon GO? Where do they appear?

Zorua, Pokémon #570 and Zoroark, Pokémon #571 are available in Pokémon GO as of October 28th, 2022. Zorua can be caught in-game as part of the Halloween events until November 1, 2022. They are very special Pokémon that have very similar capture mechanics to Ditto.

To have a chance to catch Zorua or Zoroark in Pokémon GO, we must first walk around with our Companion Pokémon. We take any Pokémon we have, set it as a Companion and feed it with Berries or Poffinto follow us around the world map. With this prerequisite completed, we have a random chance of Zorua and Zoroark appearing in the game world as a copy of our Companion Pokémon.

In other words: it will be much easier to spot a Zorua or a Zoroark while walking with a rare Companion Pokémon, such as a Legendary or a Singular. Once we see one of these Pokémon on the world map we have to touch them to move on to the capture phase. Upon successfully capturing them, they will reveal that they were actually a Zorua or Zoroark.

Note that another way to get Zoroark is to evolve a Zorua using 50 Zorua Candy. That is to say, we can obtain wild Zoroark by capturing it as mentioned above, or simply by evolving a Zorua.
