The Last of Us: Escape the Dark is the official board game that seeks Kickstarter funding
Naughty Dog presents alongside Themebone the official board game of the famous video game saga: its crowdfunding campaign kicks off this month.
The Last of Us, the famous franchise of Naughty Dog and PlayStation Studios, continues to expand its universe beyond the video game format -good proof of this is the upcoming HBO Max series whose premiere date has already been revealed- with a new official board game that seeks Kickstarter funding. This is The Last of Us: Escape the Dark, a new proposal by Naughty Dog itself along with the specialists in the medium Themebone that starts its crowdfunding campaign this coming November 8, 2022 through its official website.
This is The Last of Us official board game
The company Themebone has proposed a board game with the main hallmarks of The Last of Us franchise with the promise that each game will be different from the previous one. While waiting to learn more about its game rules or how the games will develop, we already have the first official images of the appearance of this new traditional game, both of the box with its main art represented by a disturbing Clicker and the board itself and the different elements of which it will be composed, with its player cards, dice, cards and more.
"Having previously published Escape the Dark Castle and Escape the Dark Sector, Themeborne’s award-winning work has included multiple expansions for their base games, as well as successful Kickstarter campaigns behind them," Naughty Dog says of their new partners regarding their franchise board game.
We will have to wait until November 8, 2022 for the Kickstarter campaign to learn more about The Last of Us: Escape the Dark, although the first impression could not be more promising, with an artistic design very respectful of the original work. And those who want it will have a collector's edition with several extras -and a higher price- with which to support this very interesting project.
