How to catch Pokémon #385 Jirachi in Pokémon GO
This Pokémon GO guide tells you how to catch Jirachi, Pokémon number 385. Where to catch the Mythical Pokémon Jirachi? All the details.
Jirachi is Pokémon number 385 in the PokéDex of Pokémon GO. It is a Mythical Pokémon available through events and Special Research. In this Pokémon GO guide, we tell you how to capture Jirachi. Let's get to it:
How to capture Jirachi in Pokémon GO? Where does it appear?
Jirachi is available for free to all Pokémon GO players thanks to the Special research A Thousand-Year Slumber. Players who complete it will have the chance to be able to capture Jirachi, a Mythical Pokémon.
A Thousand-Year Slumber is a Special research that was added to Pokémon GO on August 20, 2019; it is added to our list of Special research for logging into Pokémon GO any time after that day and has no prerequisites. A Thousand-Year Slumber will remain active until we complete all the tasks it asks us to perform.
Before this, there was another way to catch Celebi in Pokémon GO: the in-person event Pokémon GO Festival 2019 Yokohama, held between August 6 and 12, 2019. Not only did we had to be on-site at this location, but we also had to pay for the event ticket to participate in the event.
If at some point any more events are added that allow us to catch Jirachi in Pokémon GO, we will update this guide.
Jirachi is Pokémon 385 and one of the two Mythical Pokémon of the Hoenn region, representing the third generation. In the original video games it could be obtained by using the connectivity between GameCube and Game Boy Advance; thanks to GC's Pokémon Channel we could transfer Jirachi to Pokémon Ruby and Sapphire.
This is another page of our Pokémon GO guide. In it, we tell you, among other things, how to change our nickname or how and where to redeem codes.
