HBO's The Last of Us series confirms the length of its first episode
HBO has shared the official length of The Last of Us' first episode of the series, which is slated to premiere on January 16.
HBO has already shared the length of the long-awaited first episode of The Last of Us series: 1 hour and 25 minutes. The kickoff of the Naughty Dog's video game adaptation will keep you locked to the couch for no less than 85 minutes. Its debut is slated for next January 15 on the streaming platform. It has yet to be revealed whether this length will be extended to the nine episodes that are part of this season, or if this will change in the upcoming episodes.
What will be the release timeline for HBO's The Last of Us?
We know that the production company will follow its classic weekly premiere rhythm. That means that new episodes will debut every Sunday from January 15 until its completion, scheduled for March 12. We leave you with the schedule below:
Pedro Pascal and Bella Ramsey lead the cast as Joel and Ellie, respectively. They will be followed by other well-known faces such as Nico Parker (Sarah), Storm Reid (Riley), Lamar Johnson (Henry), Murray Bartlett (Frank), Keivonn Woodard (Sam), Nick Offerman (Bill), Anna Torv (Tess), Gabriel Luna (Tommy) and Merle Dandrige (Marlene). Troy Baker and Ashley Johnson, who played the lead duo in the video game, will have a cameo in the series. Earlier this month, the cast of the series assured fans that they need not worry about the adaptation.
