These are the 100 best games of all time, according to Metacritic

The year 2022 is now over, which means that there’s many historic lists that need updating.One of the most important is, undoubtedly, the list of the greatest games to have ever released in the history of the industry, as ranked by Metacritic, in which we see two new additions to the list in the form of Elden Ring and God of War Ragnarok. One could also include games that were released previously but that also received updates and newer versions in the past year, like Persona 5 Royal and The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt, which both had releases in new generation consoles and Switch.

The best of the best in gaming

As is to be expected, in this list you’ll find some of the titles that have earned the Game of the Year award in their respective release years, such as Elden Ring, The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild, and Red Dead Redemption 2, just to name a few. Other’s, like TES V: Skyrim, GTA V, and Metal Gear Solid 4: Guns of the Patriots, have stood the test of time and still stand tall alongside the rest.
