Alan Wake 2 is already playable from beginning to end
The long awaited sequel to Remedy Entertainment’s mythic horror game won’t take much longer to come out. Alan Wake 2’s development is well underway.
Resident Evil, Silent Hill, Project Zero... They are some of the most beloved horror franchises of all time, and in one way or another, they’re all returning in 2023 with the intention of terrifying us once again. They are names so popular that sometimes we forget about others that also deserve recognition, as is the case of the writer who lived a true nightmare in Bright Falls. One that is also coming back soon, because it seems that things are going very well in the development of Alan Wake 2.
In their latest financial report, the CEO of Remedy Entertainment Tero Virlata has confirmed something that is always fantastic news for a video game in development: "It is playable from start to finish," he says. In fact, he also notes that " the game will soon have all content in place" and that the studio's next move will be to polish the experience. There is no confirmed release date, but from his words we can deduce that we will not have to wait too long to find out about it.
Is Alan Wake Remastered worth it?
More than a year ago, Remedy Entertainment gave us the opportunity to go back to Bright Falls in Alan Wake Remastered. The game is available on PC, PS5, PS4, Xbox Series X|S, Xbox One, and Nintendo Switch. Besides, if you have the Xbox 360 version, you can also enjoy it on the current Microsoft console, since it is backward compatible.
Returning to the highly anticipated Alan Wake 2, we will still have to wait a little longer to find out its release date, but seeing that Remedy Entertainment has confirmed on more than one occasion that its coming in 2023, and according to the words of its CEO in the aforementioned report, everything indicates that it will arrive sooner rather than later.
